About Us

Environmental Policy

ICEE are keenly aware of the impact that industry can have on the environment. All employees, as part of their initial company induction, are made aware of the need to reduce waste and to recycle where possible.

Instruction in the correct disposal of waste materials (including that deemed to be hazardous) is provided.

Environmental Policy Statement

ICEE is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and in carrying out our normal work to enhance the wider environment and minimize any harmful impact as far as we are able.

Employees are reminded that minimising waste is good for ICEE and for the environment, and should both co-operate with the environmental initiatives and also make positive suggestions as to how we may improve what we do.

Specifically, individuals are requested to:

  • Take account of environmental factors and opportunities in the design and development of products and services.
  • Minimise the generation of waste in all areas.
  • Make use of the designated waste containers appropriate for recycling.
  • Look for energy savings and opportunities for the use of recyclable materials.
  • Act as an example to suppliers and take environmental factors into account in sourcing decisions.

All waste products created by our work activities are controlled and monitored in accordance with current Environment Legislation. We remain committed to a high level of environmental protection and, where possible, enhancement.

Employees are strongly encouraged to participate and offer suggestions as to how we may improve our performance in this important area.
