Installation Electricians

Job Description:

We are seeking Installation Electricians to provide a range of activities to implement the installation of communications equipment on or off at customer premises.

Working as part of an installation team, or individually the role will be field based within the UK.

Reporting to the Field Resource Manager Key responsibility Areas include:
• Electrical installation of equipment, Testing of Electrical equipment including complex and non-routine activities.
• Ability to assess, evaluate and control risks as specified in the work place risk assessment.
• Timely and accurate communication of reporting any faults.
• Adhere to the quality control procedures for inspection, recording, sampling and traceability of work stages during an installation (documentation).

Qualifications/Training Courses:
• Service orientation experience (1+ years).
• Certification of City & Guilds - Part 1 & 2 (2381) or JIB Registered, Certificate of IEE 16th Edition.
• Certification of City & Guilds – Test & Inspection (2391).
• Installation and testing of electrical equipment to NICEIC standards and regulations set by the customer and the IEE 16th Edition.
• Rooftop Access training, including radio frequency and harness awareness.
• 1st Aid Appointed Persons Certificate.
• Full Driving Licence Essential.

Ideally You will have proven experience in the following:
• 2G and 3G Networks
• Edge Technology
• PDH
• SDH
• DWDM
• Good Understanding of I/P Networks.
