Our electrical enclosures are secure, vandal proof long life housings, with climate control, specifically designed for telecommunications and ancillary equipment. 

The enclosures can incorporate:

• Climate control
• Full battery backup
• Range of anti-vandal alarms
• Grand master locking option 
• Three point locking mechanism,
  including a remotely activated option

We can manufacture from one-off or prototypes to large quantity batch work.

Full systems house testing services ensure our enclosures meet their design brief, EMC requirements and are able to withstand their environmental conditions.

Our equipment enclosures are currently being used by Telecommunications Operators, Cable TV Providers, the Railways and The Highways Agency.

Road Side Equipment Enclosures

National Roads Telecommunications Systems (NRTS)
ICEE are a strategic partner to Alcatel, supporting national network rollout of latest generation transmission equipment.
ICEE supply bespoke enclosures made to specification - UKAS System House tested to IP56

Combined Equipment Cabinets (CEC)
Active Traffic Management (ATM) : Design, manufacture and deployment of 90 new roadside enclosures used for the trial on the M42 of the Active Traffic Management System.

Trackside / Railway

Network Rail – FTN Enclosures
ICEE have prototyped, developed, supplied and installed enclosures solution for trackside telecommunications, for use with standard issue concrete plinth. Construction is of a secure, vandal proof and long life housing consisting of a two bay equipment compartment.  The battery and equipment housing compartment housing are individually built and are attached separately.

• The enclosure includes internal environment management for heat sensitive electronic equipment
• Conforms to ETS 300 019 –1-3 suitable for active telecommunications equipment
• Equipment compartment is dust and water ingress tested to IP65 standard
• Conforms to local and railway regulations
• Telecommunications equipment protected from vibration by anti-vibration mounts on the ETSI racking

Western Isles Connected Communities Enclosure  (Broadband)
The “Connected Communities Broadband” is a pilot project bringing broadband services to number of rural communities throughout the western isles of Scotland. ICEE have manufactured and supplied two types of environmentally controlled enclosures to house telecommunication equipment which are now in use in locations across the Western Isles. The equipment enclosed within the cabinet supplies high access bandwidth via ADSL
