The A3 Regrade is a major upgrade to the existing A3 and includes the new Hindhead Tunnel works.
Works involved were;
- Comms rack builds for two new modular Transmission Stations (TS’s)
- T-Cabinet build
- Installation and commissioning of comms racks into the TS’s
- Installation and commissioning of back-up generator to TS’s
- Comms rack builds for two Tunnel Service Buildings
- Installation and commissioning of comms racks into the Tunnel Service Buildings
- Integration and configuration of active equipment into T-Cab
- Delivery and bolt down of T-Cab to site
- Installation and commissioning of T-Cab
- Installation and commissioning of roadside active equipment for required Service Categories
- Service migration of all the above on to management and active network
- Additional faultfinding and rebuilds as required
These works form part of the ongoing NRTS upgrade programme that ICEE has been involved in for many years, successfully delivering projects like this on time and with minimal costs.
