Installation operations are co-ordinated by the Project Management Group. This experienced team understands the factors important to customers – a cost effective service of the highest quality, delivered within set time scales.
Project management services cover:
- Materials sourcing
- Installation of data network
- Mechanical and electrical building services
- Base station build and roll-out
- Logistics
- Network implementation
- De-installation and swapout
- Network rationalisation
The Project Management Group understands the working conditions and challenges faced by field engineers. They have all previously worked in the field – giving them first hand experience to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
Our Resource Management System brings visibility and control to project management, and enable us to manage manpower.
Individual engineer’s skills are recorded to form an overall skills matrix. This is used to assign the appropriate people to each specific element of a given project, e.g. power, PTS and commissioning certified engineers.
The combination of these systems gives us total visibility, control and accurate information with which to manage customer projects
Covering activities such as site surveys, site supervision, clerk-of-works activity and site audits, they provide an additional resource to the project management team.
Although the project support and project management teams work closely on a day-to-day basis, project support is entirely separate and is primarily concerned with problem prevention.
