We also implement a stringent training and development process, which means that from the moment a new employee joins the ICEE team their consistent learning and growth is nurtured by the organisation in order to ensure that the highest level of customer service and engineering expertise is delivered to our clients at all times.

ISO 9001 is the world’s most established quality framework, which enables businesses to manage their operations and meet customers’ requirements in the most proficient and efficient manner. Our certificate number is FM 533463.

BS ISO 14001:2015

Environmental Management System accreditation, certified by BSI (British Standards), one of the leading assessment bodies in the UK. ISO 14001 is the world’s most established environmental management frameworks, which enables businesses to manage their operations and meet customers’ requirements in the most effective manner. Our certificate number is FM 551284.

BS ISO 27001: 2013

Information Security Management Systems accreditation, certified by BSI (British Standards), one of the leading assessment bodies in the UK. ISO 27001 is the world’s most established security framework, which enables businesses to manage their operations and meet customers’ requirements in the most secure and protective manner. Our certificate number is FM 608909.

BSI ISO 45001: 2018 (SSIP)

Occupational Health and Safety management system accreditation, certified by BSI (British Standards Institute), one of the leading assessment bodies in the UK. ISO 45001 is the world’s most established Occupational Health and Safety framework. The goal of ISO 45001 is the reduction of occupational injuries and diseases, including promoting and protecting physical and mental health. ICEE achieved this accreditation in 2019 to complete the full set of major management system ISO certificates, achieving a clean sweep result in 2020. Our certificate number is OHS 714318.


ICEE Managed Services Limited are accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) having demonstrated compliance with and sound management of current basic health and safety legislation.


The contractor accreditation scheme for businesses. Safecontractor is the UK’s fastest growing health and safety assessment scheme. ICEE Managed Services Limited are very proud to be Safecontractor approved.


We are a full-time NICEIC Supervisor for electrical installations associated with telecommunications systems. The NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry.


Verified supplier within RISQS (Railway Industry Supplier Qualifications Scheme). RISQS is the supplier pre-qualification service used by buyers of all products and services throughout the UK rail industry.


Highway Electrical Registration Scheme accepted registered organisation. HERS sets the training and competence assessments for organisations and individual employees and is the standard for the industry.

Health & Safety Policy and Statement of Intent

In following this Policy ICEE will, as far as is reasonably practicable:

  • Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions in compliance with all statutory provisions.
  • Provide training, instruction, and supervision as necessary to enable employees to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Make available any necessary safety device and personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a constant and continuing interest in health and safety.
  • Managers at all levels have a responsibility for the direct implementation of this Policy within their specific area of control.

Employees have a duty to co-operate in the operation of this Policy by working safely and complying with ICEE procedures, reporting any situation that appears dangerous, reporting all incidents causing damage or injury and making full and proper use of safety equipment provided by ICEE.

The company will not undertake any disciplinary action against employees who refuse to undertake work on reasonable grounds of hazard to their health and safety.

A number of ICEE procedures exist to complement and further clarify points within this Policy.

This Policy will be reviewed and if necessary revised should there be legislative or organisational changes within ICEE. To ensure this, the Policy will be revised annually by the ICEE QHSSE Leader.

Induction of new staff

All ICEE staff undergo extensive health & safety training as part of the company induction process

Health & Safety

ICEE is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all who are affected by our business activities, whether it be employees, contractors, customers, or the general public. Health & Safety is included as an agenda item in ICEE Management Meetings to ensure that a focus is maintained on matters related to it.

Employees undertake an in-depth health and safety induction when first joining the company. The induction is structured to an individual’s work activity. This typically encompasses such topics as:

  • Display screen equipment (DSE)
  • Control Of substances Hazardous To Health (COSHH)
  • Accident / Incident Reporting
  • First Aid Requirements
  • Fire Emergency
  • Manual Handling

Field Based Engineers receive additional instruction in areas such as:

  • Lone Working
  • Rooftop Working
  • Fall Arrest Harness
  • Radio Frequency (RF)
  • Company Vehicle Safety
  • Asbestos awareness

In addition to the initial health and safety induction awareness is maintained by communication to all employees of changes to the company health and safety arrangements. These may be driven by company identified improvements, new / changing legislation, etc.

Suitable refresher training is provided where necessary to ensure that employee awareness/ competence is maintained.

All of the ICEE’s Health & Safety Arrangements are resident in the company BMS for all employees to view.

As an organisation we are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our business activities by utilising sustainable practices and by the implementation of continual improvement principles for the prevention of pollution and for the enhancement of the wider environment.

ICEE Managed Services will ensure that it is compliant with any current / forthcoming legal and other related requirements applicable to identified aspects of its business operations.

ICEE’s commitment to the environment is reinforced by the achievement standard of ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System. Accreditation was awarded by BSI (British Standards), one of the leading assessment bodies in the UK.

The ICEE Managed Services Environmental Policy is communicated to all employees through the organisations formal learning activities and intranet facility.

ICEE is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and in carrying out our normal work to enhance the wider environment and minimize any harmful impact as far as we are able.

Employees are reminded that minimising waste is good for ICEE and for the environment, and should both co-operate with the environmental initiatives and also make positive suggestions as to how we may improve what we do.

Specifically, individuals are requested to:

  • Take account of environmental factors and opportunities in the design and development of products and services.
  • Minimise the generation of waste in all areas.
  • Make use of the designated waste containers appropriate for recycling.
  • Look for energy savings and opportunities for the use of recyclable materials.
  • Act as an example to suppliers and take environmental factors into account in sourcing decisions.

All waste products created by our work activities are controlled and monitored in accordance with current Environment Legislation. We remain committed to a high level of environmental protection and, where possible, enhancement.

Employees are strongly encouraged to participate and offer suggestions as to how we may improve our performance in this important area.

ICEE also hold a Certificate of Registration under the Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989.
