Since 2017, ICEE have worked with the BT Media Outside Broadcast Team to provide bespoke equipment enclosures & on-site services, for the broadcast of Premier League Football, Scottish Premiership Football and Horse Racing.
Our relationship with BT Media began with the design and manufacture of bespoke power enclosures for the Premier League, designed to house live broadcasting equipment on game days. These enclosures are located at each Premier League football ground, as well as Wembley Stadium.
Since then, our relationship has expanded to cover a whole variety of live sports.
What ICEE services are utilised by BT?
Since the start of our work with BT, our service offering has grown. To this day, we currently manufacture products, complete regular on-site testing, relocate equipment enclosures and offer a full 24/7 support programme when required.
At the start of our partnership with BT, we designed, manufactured and installed equipment enclosures for all twenty Premier League football teams, as well as dedicated enclosures at Wembley Stadium and the O2. These enclosures remain in operation today, providing full on-site streaming capabilities for BT. In the second phase of our collaboration, we expanded into the Scottish Premiership, enabling BT to extend its football game streaming coverage. To this day, we continue to maintain both the Premier League and Scottish Premiership enclosures, ensuring reliable performance.
Our expansion continued into horse racing, with ICEE tailored manufactured enclosures now in place at five venues across the country for broadcasting purposes. Each year, we inspect and maintain our entire enclosure network for BT, ensuring consistent reliability and peak performance.
