Since 2017, ICEE has worked in partnership with BT Media’s Outside Broadcast team to design and manufacture bespoke equipment enclosures supporting live broadcast operations across the UK. Our solutions are engineered to perform in fast-moving, high-pressure environments where reliability, protection and rapid deployment are critical.

From national football coverage to major horse racing events, ICEE’s enclosures and supporting services form part of the infrastructure that enables live content capture at scale. Built for transport, repeat use and exposure to the elements, each unit is designed to support broadcast equipment where failure is not an option.

ICEE designs and manufactures fully bespoke equipment cabinets tailored to the specific requirements of BT Media’s Outside Broadcast operations. Each unit is engineered around the equipment it supports, including integrated battery backup and power management to protect critical broadcast systems during live transmission.

Designed for transport, repeat deployment and use in demanding outdoor environments, the cabinets are built to be moved, redeployed and reconfigured as broadcast requirements change. ICEE continues to support BT Media beyond manufacture, providing ongoing maintenance, upgrades and modifications as equipment evolves.

Our field teams also manage relocation and reinstallation where required, ensuring cabinets remain operational and correctly configured across different venues and event types. This end-to-end approach allows BT Media to rely on a flexible, future-ready infrastructure that can adapt alongside their Outside Broadcast operations.
