Five-Year Recertification Programme
ICEE supports Gigaclear through a long-term maintenance programme for fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network equipment enclosures manufactured by ICEE and installed across the UK. The programme includes a structured five-year inspection and recertification cycle, ensuring all enclosures remain compliant, safe and fully operational.
By combining in-house manufacturing knowledge with certified elctrical field services, ICEE provides Gigaclear with a consistent, single partner solution for both asset manufacture and long-term compliance.

How We Delivered
Planned maintenance with built in compliance.
As the original manufacturer of the enclosures, ICEE has a detailed understanding of the design, equipment and performance requirements of each unit. This allows maintenance to be carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption.
ICEE’s NICEIC-certified engineers undertake planned inspections, testing and any required remedial works, completing full electrical recertification on a five-year cycle. This ensures each enclosure continues to meet the required safety and compliance standards while supporting the ongoing reliability of Gigaclear’s FTTH network.
